Artist

Randee Hooker is a South Florida-based abstract artist whose work is deeply inspired by the natural landscape—coastal tones, organic textures, and the sense of stillness found near water. She creates large-scale, layered paintings using resin, ink, plaster, pigment, and mixed media to explore emotion, memory, and presence through color and form. Her work often incorporates fragments of handwritten text, subtly embedded into the surface of the canvas—leaving space for reflection and curiosity. Each painting invites the viewer to slow down, to feel, and to connect with the atmosphere it creates. Designed with interiors in mind, her pieces bring warmth, depth, and intentional energy into both residential and commercial spaces.Randee received her BFA from Florida Atlantic University, where she studied contemporary art, installation, and conceptual practices. Her work has been featured in Vero Beach Magazine, and is currently on display in two Ikaria medical offices, where her pieces were selected for their calming presence and design-forward integration.
