Written Marks
A series of abstract works where ink, acrylic, and intuitive gestures obscure and reveal fragments of handwritten text — creating a quiet tension between what’s seen and what ’s said.
Ink, acrylic, and hidden text on canvas
In this series, language becomes both message and texture. Each large-scale abstract painting contains a hidden written passage — a private dialogue layered beneath expressive marks, washes of neutral tones, and soft hints of pink.Words are partially concealed, only glimpsed in fragments — like memories surfacing in silence. These works explore the tension between what we express and what we withhold. The act of writing becomes part of the visual rhythm, inviting the viewer to look closely, to wonder, and to feel without needing to fully understand. Each mark, each word, is intentional — even when it hides beneath the surface.
